A day in the life of… Flami!

It’s a bonus sitting next to two super-rad-lovely-ladies every day of the week. On one side I have my boss Maddy [who is currently frantically typing away] and on the other side it’s the lovely Flaminia, but we call her Flami.

Flami moved here from Italy and is apart of the Social Media team… Let’s find out more of what a day in the life of Flami is like!

Job Description: I created and manage our Google + page ( +1 it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) , I am working on Pinterest and Polyvore, I am currently helping for editorials and newsletter.

When did you start working for THE ICONIC? Last February

What time did you start today? 9.. 9ish

What were your first thoughts when you stepped into our level 2 foyer on your first day? OMG!!

What was in your lunch box today? Fennel salad with oranges, avocado, almonds and balsamic vinegar. Gnam!

Do you prefer Pinterest ofr Polyvore? Definitely Pinterest! It’s an amazing new social network, or better “virtual pinboard”, that allows registered customers (invite only) to create and customize visual boards. It’s an easy way to share and leverage existing visual imagery of products you love and place them in any category you can imagine. By creating specific Pinterest boards you can not only share product information and push your brands but it’s also an amazing opportunity to build a relationship with your customers. Interesting, useful and fun!

Let’s recap what you’ve done in the last.. 8 hours? Work, work, work?!

1 hour? Sorting through heaps of samples to categorize for editorials, created a set on Polyvore, quickly went over some training for the Newsletter reports and a coffee break!

Whats your story pre THE ICONIC? I am Italian, 22, and I have studied Economics and Management at Tor Vergata University in Rome. Last year I did an exchange in Spain (Barcelona) for 8 months, and straight after my graduation in November I came to Sydney (my childhood dream) should have stayed just 4 months, now it’s 8 that I’ve been here.. and then.. who knows! Life is SO unpredictable!

When was your last purchase from our website and what was it? Hmm.. Today! An amazing TRIWA Naked Brasco watch. (See it here)
