Having recently taken a few days off to tie the knot, seal the deal, lock it down with her partner, Emma is a friendly face around the office that I highly enjoy having the odd chat with here and there. A wizard with the GHD and all up to date with what makeup to buy and not to buy!

Job Title: Hair & Makeup Artist + Stylist
Job Description: I’m full time in the production team for THE ICONIC, my role is to do the H&M on our models that come in and styling. Also work on editorial shoots and our lookbook (a new project coming out soon!) for the magazine & newsletters.
When did you start working for THE ICONIC? I started at THE ICONIC March 1st of this year.
What time did you start today? 8am.. Ahhhhh.
What were your first thoughts when you stepped into our foyer (level 2) on your first day? OMG where am I! It was all quiet and I had to look for a friend who had originally introduced me to THE ICONIC, I was working with the people I had the trial with so it was all very cool/not so nerve racking.
What was in your lunchbox today? I made frittata ham + cheese + vegies.. Umm plus grilled chicken.. and homemade sweet pot pumpkim soup.. Warm and yummy!
Let’s recap what you have done in the last… 8 hours? Last 8 hours.. Ahh I prepped Jade the model for a shoot at 8am, started styling at 9 until 12.. Lunch.. Then started another H&M on Holly for bloch (launching online with us very soon!) all in all a great day and now I’m finished! Home is calling…
1 hour? Finished off styling Bloch clothes on Holley and looking up references for our editorials this week [which I am super excited about!]
What are the perks? I work with great people, have made new friends, feel inspired everyday by something new and get to work creatively!
Tea, coffee or milo? I love tea.. T2 Madagaskan vanilla + honey vanilla roobo tea. AND I love a milo with soy, occasionally cold!
Peanut butter or vegemite? Both – but not together.
What’s your story pre THE ICONIC? Before ICONIC I’ve worked in the beauty industry for 15 years from cosmetics, training, freelancing to management.. No uni, just studied to be a makeup artist and became a lecturer in the London beauty + fashion college. I’m from the UK and lived in Aus for 20 years this September. I’ve been back to London for 4 years to work teaching makeup and spend time with the fam. . But I followed my love back here, Andrea. Haha – why do we do that?! My family is mad!! 7 brothers & sisters all over the world from 13-45 years old! (Different parents of course). And the newest addition to my family, my husband Andrea. We were married 2 weeks ago, after 6 years it’s done! A very happy lady but no pitta patta little feet though for a while ahah.
When was the last time you made a purchase from our website and what was it? Oops.. No purchases yet! I’m a fuller lady and we’ve got very small sizes! *take note*
Thoughts? Don’t get up in my grill!! I’m needing a DC (diet coke time!)
